It's a hotel. Not bad. Not good. No breakfast, decently clean, 24/7 front desk staff that's pretty helpful, allows pets for 50$. Close to a lot of good stuff though so that's sweet and saves on cab money. Could stand for better wifi and at least more fans or air conditioners. As a heads up prices are based on how many people they have apparently so booking early really pays off.
The rooms have improved since I was here a couple years ago, new carpet and furniture. However Wifi is terrible to nonexistent! This needs an upgrade
Comfortable & large room with large kitchen at a reasonable price. Friendly & helpful staffs. I was told that the hotel is the process of being upgraded. Conveniently situated with several great restaurants around, the Hot Shot & Grubs, the Monkey Tree, the Diamond Restaurant,etc. A large WalMart, Staples & the Independent Store just across the road. Quiet & peaceful.
Teach your employees to know that when I call and ask for A wheelchair accessible room and they say yes, that it is actually wheelchair accessible. There's a HUGE difference between accessible because it's on the first floor and actually accessible to a disabled person. Checked in and checked right back out. False information - absolutely disgusted and you should be ashamed that your people don't know what WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE IS!!!!!
The property could use a good cleaning. Elevator carpets still had crusty salt stains on them. Sometimes the second elevator didn't work. Might reconsider my options next time I go to Yellowknife.
