Dog friendly and the staff is always helpful. Inventory numbers have been off in the past but I haven't had issues in getting products for a while now. Parts selection is somewhat limited even for common fleet vehicles found in yk which I found a bit odd. Paint matching was spot on when I got it done. Great for repairs or marks in a rental unit.
Self checkout machine asked too many questions. I just want to paid and go. Here are some more questions maybe Canadian Tire could ask: Would you like to apply for a Canadian Tire MasterCard? Would like to donate to our charity? Did you find what you were looking for? Would like to participate in our survey? Seriously, I thought self checkout was intended to be quick service.
Great place to get my car serviced with warranty in place. Roland and his team are excellent and always consult with me on repairs and approval prior to them actually taking place.

When is your Yellowknife Canadian Tire store going to be a place to shop where you don't have to deal with the miserable staff. I work hard for my money and when I go to spend it I expect some sort of respect and courtesy from the staff. Once again, the customer service or should I say "The customer abuse desk" were discourteous and down right rude!!!!!!!!!! Anyone who ever brings up Canadian Tire in a conversation have nothing but negative comments about the whole store. So Canadian Tire "Smarten up" get some decent staff who make it a pleasurable experience to shop there and while I'm on this rant, get even more staff. I've spent fifteen minutes of my precious time just looking for someone to help me. When you do finally find someone, in the store, if you search long enough and ask them a question more than likely they have no idea what it is you need. It would really help if staff were trained to help customers. I think its awful that we, as customers, have to do the work of your staff, its a disgrace.
