I ran into the chef/owner at another place in town. Coming from the states he told me I had to try his chicken and waffles. Hands down the best chicken and waffles Ive had anywhere! Flavorful, customized with their local tastes in the maple butter, and just the right level of heat.Environment was cozy and very friendly. Staff went above and beyond. Do be prepared to wait just a little, but its more than worth the wait.I will definitely be coming back.
Probably the best brunch in Yellowknife. Amazingly friendly service, and interesting sounding brunch cocktails. Very cozy (only a few tables). Because of the size they seat complete groups, so make sure your whole group is there at about the same time, so you aren't waiting. The chicken and waffles were fantastic, so were the eggs benedict with brisket.
The only five-star restaurant in Yellowknife. The menu is absolutely delicious. The evergood burger and goodmorning burger, in my opinion, are the best burgers in-town! These burgers have a wonderful, juicy, beef flavor and the burger sauce doesn't drown the beef flavor (something most burger joints are guilty of). The prices are reasonable too and often a steal with how good the food can be sometimes. The only negatives about Twin-Pine diner are the short business hours but when they are open it is burger bliss.
Food is consistently great here (a rarity in Yellowknife food establishments). Service is fast and friendly. A great place for kids as well.
The most amazing place in town. It's got something for everyone, and it's consistently delicious. The owners are local and local minded. I've never had a bad experience with the restaurant, or the owners. This is easily my favorite place to eat in the world
